Wrightwell Enters the Midwest with the Acquisition of Two Stabilized Build-to-Rent Communities

  • With the acquisitions of Elm Grove (Belton, MO) and Summit Townhomes (Rogers, AR), Wrightwell has deployed more than $100M YTD, and continues to seek investment opportunities in strategic markets in 2026

ATLANTA, Dec. 17, 2025 –  Wrightwell, a real estate investment and operating platform, today announced its expansion into the Midwest with the acquisition of two stabilized build-to-rent (“BTR”) communities totaling 191 townhomes and single-family residences: Elm Grove in the Kansas City metropolitan area and Summit Townhomes in Northwest Arkansas.

With these acquisitions, Wrightwell’s national portfolio now totals 365 units across five communities and marks the firm’s first expansion outside the Southeast, following recent BTR townhome community acquisitions in Atlanta, Birmingham and Raleigh-Durham.

Portfolio Characteristics

Elm Grove | Kansas City Metro (Belton, MO)

- Elm Grove is a 123-home community featuring a mix of attached townhomes and detached single-family homes.

- 3-4 bedroom homes.

- The property benefits from the Kansas Cityregion’s diversified employment base, accessible price points and steadypopulation inflows.

Summit Townhomes | NorthwestArkansas (Rogers, AR)

- Summit Townhomes includes 68 two-story townhomes.

- 2-3 bedroom homes.

- Located in Rogers, a growing hub supported byFortune 500 headquarters and robust long-term economic drivers.

A Strategic Step Beyond the Southeast

Wrightwell’s entry into the Midwest represents a deliberate expansion into markets with structurally balanced supply dynamics—a differentiator from many high-growth Sun Belt metros experiencing elevated new construction deliveries.

“These acquisitions reflect an important next step for Wrightwell as we broaden our geographic footprint,” said Anthony DePalma, CEO and Co-Founder of Wrightwell. “The Midwest offers a compelling combination of durable demand, stable economic foundations and measured new supply. Elm Grove and Summit Townhomes are the types of well-located, resident-forward communities that align with our long-term investment approach.”

“Kansas City and Northwest Arkansas offer durable market fundamentals that support consistent results, enabling us to expand the Wrightwell platform into regions with a more balanced supply-demand dynamic,” added Alex Kahn, COO and Co-Founder of Wrightwell.

With these acquisitions, Wrightwell now operates in five states and continues to scale its real estate investment and operating platform. The firm plans to expand selectively into additional markets that demonstrate strong economic durability and favorable long-term conditions.
